Summer......is almost over.
I have not blogged all summer. And now it is almost over, which really stinks. True, I am going to be a senior and all, but along with that comes a lot of pressure. I have to figure out where I am gonna go to college, or even if I am going to college. And if I am, what I am going to major in. On top of that, the everyday responsibilities of being a senior which is a lot of crap. And I haven't even taken my SATs yet. AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!

Right Here
I cant say that I know just what you're dealing with
But it's so plain that it shows just what your feelings is
But I suppose that your pain that you're living with
It comes and goes and fills your mind now with hopelessness
But I know someone who comes with life to give
And His love is the reason why my life can live
Just one touch is all you're needing
'Cause He died to give you so much but you can't see 'cause you
Struggle with
So many things up in your life you're frustrated with
Nothing seems to be going right I know you're hating it
But let me tell you see I've been through what you experienced
And I've come to see the source of who my healing is
If it's divorce or anything else making it hard to live
I gotta tell you you can make it just through all of this
'Cause everywhere you go He's there for you it's obvious
Don't be scared no more cause this is why I'm saying this
Everywhere I go I know you're not far away
You're right here, you're right here, yeah
Everywhere I go I know you're not far away
You're right here, you're right here, yeah
I remember times when I couldn't find my peace of mind
When I felt I couldn't see now cuz I was blind
All the time You was there and then You freed my eyes
Made me realize that You was all I need in life
From the deepest oceans all the way up to the skies
There is no place were I could go and no place to hide
That your hands wouldn't show the way and be my guide
You're never far away You'll always be my peace in life
Everywhere I go I know you're not far away
You're right here, you're right here, yeah
Everywhere I go I know you're not far away
You're right here, you're right here, yeah
So right now just with anything you face in life
Understand you can always find strength in Christ
God has a plan just for every single part of your lives
That might be hard to understand in your troubled times
But anywhere you go He's there with arms open wide
He cares for you don't you know there's no need to cry
I know this road is hard c'mon it's gonna be alright
He loves you so much it's time that you realize....
Everywhere I go I know you're not far away
You're right here, you're right here, yeah
Everywhere I go I know you're not far away
You're right here, you're right here, yeah

My sister.
My sister is a very special person. She has a mild case of Down Syndrome. She is really blessed in the fact that she can read and write and even talk, which a lot of people with DS can't do. It bothers me when people say they "Are very sorry" to hear about her condition. She is just like any other kid out there. She likes to play with her toys and watch TV and bake cakes. And most of all, she likes to annoy her older sister, she gets great enjoyment out of that. And yes, she knows exactly what she is doing. Sometimes I think she is too smart for her own good. There is not a second when she doesn't have something to say. She is one of the most loving people you will ever meet. She knows just when you need a hug, sometimes before you do. At the same time, she can get really mad and she is very dramatic. I won't lie, sometimes it is hard. She doesn't understand a lot of things and people can be pretty mean to her (except when I am around). And sometimes I can't do certain things because she can't. She is also the most stubborn person I have ever met. You cannot change her mind about anything. Despite all that, she is one of the most amazing people in my life and I wouldn't trade her for a "normal" sister any day.

When I Grow Up.
I have lost count of the times that people have asked me what I want to be "When I grow up." To be honest, I haven't the slightest clue. Another frequently asked question is, "Where do you want to go to school?" I don't know that either. I mean, sure, I have interests but do I really want to spend the rest of my life doing that? Considering I am in 11th grade, I realize I should be thinking about these things. Honestly it is a little scary too.

Finals are finally over!
Well, almost. There are two smaller ones tomorrow, but I cannot explain how happy I am that they are over. On another note, it has been snowing a lot. I like the snow, but I am soooo ready for spring to be here. Now that finals are over, we have other homework again so I am going to go do that now. Yuck.

Snow!
Today was a weird day. My dad came in my room at 6:30 and told me that school was canceled. Needless to say, I fell back asleep. Then at 6:50 (the time that I usually leave my house to go to school) he comes in and says that there is school. I have never gotten ready for school so fast. And even when I hurried, I was still late for school. And then, we got out early anyway. As of now, it is still snowing. I wonder if we will go to school tomorrow? I am going to eat dinner. Happy snow!

My Day at the Farm
Last friday I went to Sarah's house. I did lots of fun things: milked cows, fed cows, stepped in the drop, fell in a mound of silage and rolled down the other side, got milk squirted in my face, learned how to put a milker on a cow, washed cow utters, fed the baby cows (so cute), fed the goats, and I am sure there was more that I did but right now they are slipping my mind. But there was one other part, and I do believe that was my favorite, drinking the milk! It was the best milk in the entire world. I think everyone should try it atleast once in their life. You have not lived until you have tried this milk----not kidding.

Saturate
Last Thursday I went to Elim Fellowship's Saturate youth conference in Lima NY. It lasted 3 days. To say that it was amazing would be an understatement. It was actually my second time at one of Elim's conferences. It is drastically different from what I am used to. I have gone to a Baptist church my entire life. My church is mostly older people. Let's just say they don't get too excited. But the thing is, the people at Elim except you no matter. You can worship in any way you want to and no one looks at you like you are crazy. No one judges you there. The worship has been awesome the times that I have been there. And the speakers always have something to say that will hit you in ways you never expected. I loved it so much, I didn't want to go home. I can honestly say that my relationship with Christ was stengthened this week-end.

Election
I got to help out at the county offices today. It was really fun. Since I was in the last group of the day, we got to separate all the stuff that the townships and boroughs brought in. It was really crazy at times. I also answered the phone a couple of times. Overall, it was a cool learning experience. I am really sad I couldn't vote though. If only my birthday was 3 weeks earlier. Oh well. May the best man win........I hope.

My butt hurts
Horseback riding was really awesome. I had no idea I could do half of the things I did. My butt really hurts though. I am scared of what it is going to feel like in the morning. Homework calls..................

Borrrring........
I am not much good at keeping up with this blogging thing. But I will try my best. So today was a really boring day. The only fun thing I got to do was go shopping for a helmet for horseback-riding lessons. I start on thursday. I am really excited, but nervous at the same time. I love being around horses and hopefully I will like it. I can't really think of anything to talk about so, that is all for now.

Abortion
I realize that many people have different opinions on this topic. And I am going to express mine. God doesn't make mistakes. He created the child that someone is thinking about having aborted. Who are we to take human life into our own hands? We aren't anybody to do that. We have no right to take that responsibility upon ourselves. Regardless of what anybody says, that baby is a human being at the moment of conception. I cannot figure how anyone could kill an innocent child. I realize some do not see it this way. I admit, I can get pretty heated on this topic. I guess it is because it hits close to home. My sister is one of the many types of children who are aborted. She has Down's Syndrome. I could not imagine life without her. She is one of the most amazing blessings God could give anyone. I consider myself very blessed that God chose my family to put her in. How many people are missing out on a blessing like that because they have an abortion? What if the child that was aborted was going to find a cure for cancer? I hear that statement all the time, but if you sit down and think about it, it is really depressing. What are we missing by aborting all these children? Only God knows.
